Fast5 is a modern, high-energy version of traditional netball designed to be faster and more dynamic. Each team has five players instead of seven, and matches are played over four shorter quarters. Fast5 includes exciting rule changes such as multiple scoring zones (1, 2, and 3 points), rolling substitutions, and power plays where goals count for double points. This format encourages quicker play, long shots, and more strategy, making it ideal for spectators and television. It’s popular in international competitions and youth events.
